Remote Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health Course

We are delighted to bring to you the first date of our fully tutor led remote delivery of our Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health Course.

We will be delivering this course virtually via Microsoft Teams. The full course syllabus will be tutor led by our award winning instructor, presentation and videos will be shared on screen, comfort breaks will also be included and allows for Q&A discussions.

This course is suitable for everyone but has been designed to help employers to provide a positive mental health culture within the workplace.

Learners undertaking this course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health and be a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.

Building on the Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health this course introduces the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan which allows learners to provide their peers with comprehensive guidance and support for a suspected mental health condition.

Modules include;

  • What is First Aid for Mental Health
  • Identifying mental health conditions
  • Providing advice and starting a conversation
  • Detailing mental health conditions
  • Drugs & Alcohol
  • First aid action plan for mental health
  • Mental health in the workplace

In order to gain this qualification an individual 30 minute recorded course assessment must be completed, please note the assessment must be completed within 3 weeks of course delivery date and will be arranged at a convenient time between yourself and your instructor. RQF certificate will supplied after successful completion. 

Internet access & Microsoft Teams are essential to complete this course.
