Product description

This course is suitable for all persons within a workplace but is aimed at those who hold a supervisory/managerial level position and who have responsibility for implementing a positive mental health culture and responsibility for First Aid for Mental Health within an organisation.

In this level learners will study in greater detail the support/therapy provided by professional healthcare providers. You will look in greater detail at the signs and symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD and several others. You will also be able to describe the support & therapy provided by professional healthcare providers. With more knowledge of these you will be better suited to provide first aid for mental health, helping the transition into more formal care.

What to expect and course delivery:

A mix of self learning and tutor support webinar sessions will guide you through this course with accredited material, virtual discussions and Q&A’s.

You will receive 6 x 1 hour tutor supported webinar sessions, course content and material will be provided via email along with a reference booklet. It is recommended each candidate conduct a minimum of  hours self-learning from the material provided in order to gain the best knowledge from this qualification (please include correct email address at time of booking in order to get the documents to you).

After successful completion of the above a virtual assessment is required by First Aid Awards (FAA) in order to pass this qualification this will be arranged with you and the instructor after content has been viewed.

Internet access,  Microsoft Teams are essential to complete this course.
